Roleplay Memory lets Yoodli reference summaries of past recordings so coaching feels consistent and contextual.

Before you start

  • Program Memory is off by default. Only available for Enterprise account

  • Tutor Memory is on by default.

  • The AI can be guided to use memory by referencing “previous conversations” in your roleplay instructions.

Enable Program Memory

  1. Sign in to Yoodli as an admin or program owner.

  2. Go to Programs.

  3. Open the program you want to edit.

  4. Go to the Roleplay tab.

  5. Find Roleplay Memory and toggle it on.

  6. Save changes.

What it remembers

  • Last 20 completed program steps

  • Available to all AI personas, even if they did not appear in earlier steps

  • The AI ignores past information that is not relevant

Manage Tutor Memory

  1. Go to Builder.

  2. Open the tutor scenario you want to manage.

  3. Confirm Roleplay Memory is on. Toggle off or on as needed.

  4. Save changes.

What it remembers

  • Last 20 saved roleplays in this tutor scenario

  • Available to all AI personas, even if multiple tutor personas exist

  • The AI can tell whether the current persona or a different persona did something previously

  • Summarized goal results are included in memory to give tutors better context for coaching
