Global Content is only available by request. If you are interested please reach out to your CSM!
Global Content is an Enterprise feature designed for organizations that want certain content to be available to everyone by default, no matter which content space they are in. This is useful when you want consistent coaching standards across teams, regions, or departments.
What are Global Custom Goals?
Global Custom Goals are goals that live in the Global Content area instead of a specific content space. Once a goal is global, it becomes available across the organization automatically. Only Organization Admins will have access to Global Content.
Create a Global Custom Goal
To create a Global Custom Goal:
In the left-hand navigation, open Global Content.
Create a new goal using the same workflow as a standard goal.
Choose the goal type, then define the goal parameters.
After you save, the goal will live in the Global Content area and be visible across your organization.
Promote a Content Space Goal to Global
If you already created a goal inside a content space, you can promote it to Global:
Open your Roleplay page.
Go to Custom Goals.
Find the goal you want to promote, then click the ellipsis.
Select Promote to Global.
Promoting a goal moves it completely out of the original content space and into the Global Content area, making it available organization-wide.
How to use Global Goals
Org Admins and Content Space Admins can view and assign Global Goals to roleplays within a content space. Global Goals are managed in Global Content, so they will not appear in the Custom Goals library inside a content space.
To add a Global Goal to a roleplay:
Open the Org Roleplay Builder.
Go to the Rubric section, then click + Add Goal.
If your organization has Global Goals, you will see a dedicated Global Goals option in the menu.
Select the goal you want to add.
Once added, Global Goals display a Globe icon to indicate they come from Global Content. You can also select View Details to see a consolidated view of the goal’s description and scoring criteria.
Note: Global Goals cannot be edited from within the Roleplay Builder. This helps avoid confusion about whether changes would apply globally, only to a specific content space, or only to an individual roleplay.
Uploading a global file
Go to Global Content from the admin view.
Open the Files tab.
Click Upload file and select a file from your computer.
You can also use Add from Google Drive to add a file from a connected Drive.
Once uploaded, the file is available to every content space in your organization.
Using a global file in a roleplay
Global files appear alongside local content space files when building roleplays.
You can attach global files as:
Pre-read material for members
Context the AI uses during the roleplay
Content for AI screensharing
Global files are read-only at the content space level. You can attach, detach, and reference them, but you cannot rename, edit, or delete a global file unless you are an org admin working inside Global Content.
When a global file is updated
If a global file is connected to Google Drive and you update the file in Drive, Yoodli syncs the latest version automatically.
Anyone practicing a roleplay that uses the file will receive the updated version the next time they access it. You do not need to reattach the file.
