Understanding the Analytics Hub in Yoodli

Overview

The Analytics Hub centralizes all reporting across your organization, programs, goals, and members. It provides a single view of performance trends and engagement insights, helping teams measure ROI, scale coaching, and make data-driven decisions without manually reviewing each recording.

Why It Matters

Previously, analytics were fragmented across multiple areas of Yoodli. The Analytics Hub consolidates these metrics to help teams:

  • Quickly understand organization-wide engagement and activity

  • Measure the effectiveness of coaching programs

  • Track progress toward communication goals

  • Identify trends and areas for improvement across cohorts (excludes programs)

Key Analytics Views

Organization Overview

Provides a snapshot of overall platform health, including:

  • Active users and total recordings

  • Engagement rates over time

  • Baseline performance metrics for the organization

This view helps leaders monitor participation and adoption trends across their team.

Program Analytics

Evaluates the performance and effectiveness of individual coaching programs.

  • Track total recordings and activity within each program

  • Measure improvement trends across sessions

  • Identify top- and bottom-performing skill areas

  • Compare results across cohorts to pinpoint collective strengths and weaknesses

Goal Analytics

Visualizes progress toward specific communication or behavior goals.

  • Track skill development across defined time periods

  • Measure progress across multiple skills or goals

  • Identify weakest areas to focus future coaching efforts

This view connects measurable outcomes directly to your coaching objectives.

Member Analytics

Drills down into individual performance and participation data.

  • Filter by participation status (active, inactive, or missing attempts)

  • Access direct links to member recordings and performance summaries

  • Review improvement trends over time

This level of detail supports both personalized coaching and progress tracking.

AI Analysis

Automatically identifies common themes, strengths, and growth areas across teams and programs.

  • Uses transcript-level analysis to uncover skill patterns

  • Highlights communication trends without requiring manual review

  • Links back to specific recordings for context and verification

Definitions

AI Analysis

  • Strengths & Growth Areas: Apply to the entire program and pull from transcripts of all recordings completed in that program.

  • Goal-Specific Box: Focuses on how effective the program is toward that individual goal.

  • Progress & Opportunities: Includes only users who have completed at least two speeches for a given goal. Single-attempt users are excluded since progress cannot be measured.

Progress and Opportunities Section

  • Progress: Represents measurable score improvement. Always compares the first attempt score to the best score achieved, regardless of total attempts.

  • Opportunities: Highlights areas that did not improve through the program. This section is descriptive rather than prescriptive, offering indicators for potential areas of focus.

Statistics Definitions

  • Number of Users Participated: Users with two or more attempts on that goal.

  • Number of Users Who Made Progress: Users whose best score improved compared to their first score.

  • Average Score of Users Who Made Progress: Average of the highest scores among improved users.

  • Users Who Did Not Make Progress: Users with multiple attempts but no score improvement. One-time users are excluded.

Special Cases

  • Unscored Goals: Excluded from quantitative charts and AI analysis due to the lack of numerical values.

  • Archived Programs: Data remains visible to preserve historical context.

  • Data Refresh Cadence: AI Analysis updates weekly, while all other data refreshes hourly.
