What Are Content Spaces?
Content Spaces are dedicated organizational hubs where admins can store and manage all their training content. Unlike Groups, which focus on assigning content to learners, Content Spaces provide admins with a structured way to maintain clarity across various training programs.
Content Spaces function similarly to Google Drive’s Shared Drives, allowing for structured storage of learning materials. They contain folders of content and support multiple resource types, including:
Programs
Roleplays
Personas
Custom goals
Interview banks
Files
Coach Bots
Courses
By leveraging Content Spaces, admins can efficiently organize learning materials without impacting learner assignments, ensuring a seamless training experience.
Understanding Content Spaces vs. Groups
Content Spaces and Groups are peer concepts within Yoodli, meaning they serve distinct functions and do not exist within each other. While Groups are used to assign content to learners, Content Spaces serve as an organizational hub for admins to store and manage training materials. This distinction ensures clarity in structuring content while keeping assignments flexible.
How to Use Content Spaces
1. Access Content Spaces: Navigate to the Content view in Yoodli. All your training materials will be stored in a default Content Space.
2. Manage Content Spaces: Click Manage Content Spaces to create and customize new spaces according to your organizational needs.
3. Assign Admins: Admins can designate Content Space Admins to control specific spaces. This role helps maintain structure while allowing multiple admins to manage content effectively. Navigate to Permissions.
4. Organize & Copy Content: Admins can copy and move materials between different Content Spaces to ensure consistency across training programs. Admins can create new roleplays or the Org Admin can go to their pre-created roleplays, select the three dots, and select Copy to, choosing a Content Space to move this roleplay into.
File Libraries in Content Spaces
Uploaded Coach Bot files now appear in a library, making it easy to reuse files for different features. You can still create and manage Coach Bots as before, but now you have the option to upload new files or add them from your library.
File libraries are specific to each Content Space, ensuring that files remain organized and easily accessible within the correct context. Keep your training materials structured by using Content Spaces effectively.
Flexibility for Admin Roles
Users can be both a Content Space Admin and a Group Admin, allowing them to manage both content and learner assignments.
Content Space Admin Permissions
As a Content Space Admin, you have the following permissions:
Create, edit, and delete any content within your designated spaces.
View all groups within the space, including their members. However, Content Space Admins cannot manage group memberships or create/delete groups.
Assign content from the Content Space to any group.
