Practice makes progress! With AI Pre-Read, you can upload files that the AI will treat as pre-read material before a roleplay. This enables more realistic and informed interactions, allowing the AI to engage as though it has reviewed the provided document ahead of time.

This feature is especially useful for roleplays that require specific knowledge whether you're simulating a sales call where the buyer has read a case study or an AI tutor teaching based on a product guide.

How AI Pre-Read Works

AI Pre-Read enhances roleplays by giving the AI contextual knowledge from documents you provide. This makes conversations more relevant and realistic.

  1. Upload a File: Attach relevant documents, such as whitepapers, training guides, or scripts.

  2. Attach to a Scenario: Assign the document to a specific roleplay to give the AI background knowledge.

  3. Run the Roleplay: The AI will act as if it has read the document, making responses more informed.

Best Practices for AI Pre-Read

  • The more relevant the document, the better the AI’s responses will be. Ensure the document contains key details the AI should know.

  • Keep files concise and focused on the roleplay goal. If a document is too long or complex, consider summarizing key points in the scenario description.

  • If you want the AI to reference the document naturally, use wording in your scenario like: “Assume you’ve read the attached case study before this call.”

  • AI Pre-Read works best when paired with clear scenario instructions. Make sure to provide guidance on how the AI should use the document.

Use Cases for AI Pre-Read

  • Sales & Customer Conversations: Provide case studies, whitepapers, or emails that a buyer has supposedly read before a sales call. This ensures the AI interacts as an informed prospect.

  • AI Tutor & Training: Upload product documentation or training materials so the AI can act as a knowledgeable tutor, answering questions based on accurate information.

  • Support & Troubleshooting Roleplays: Give the AI access to technical manuals or FAQs so it can act as a customer support rep trained on your product.

You're in Control!

  • You can update or remove attached documents at any time.

  • Experiment with different files to see how the AI’s responses change.

  • If the AI isn’t referencing the document as expected, try refining the scenario description for clarity.
